The NYC Marathon, a Kit Kat heist, 60-pounds of protein powder, ketchup-as-running fuel -- and other stories about food and fitness technology
Don't write off a marathon! I did my first this year and it was actually a bit of an anticlimax - I expected it to be harder. It did take me 4.26 so I think that not having a time goal helped a lot.
Meanwhile, my husband and son went much faster and got hit by cramps at 35km. They finished at a much slower speed (but still ahead of me) and now it's one of their funny stories as they mime their legs simply not cooperating.
